Thornicroft South Luangwa- is one of the closest camps to the South Luangwa National Park and is in close proximity to the Nsefu sector and neighboring Game Reserves. Whether you decide to go on a safari excursion or stay at the camp, you are sure to experience a taste of the African Wild. All of our safari activities are led by fully qualified guides who are attentive and very well informed.
WALKING SAFARI
South Luangwa, the birthplace of walking safaris, offers a thrilling way to experience big game. Accompanied by a guide and armed ranger, you leave the 4x4 behind and walk safely among elephants, antelope, zebras, and occasional predators, providing an up-close and respectful encounter with wildlife in their natural habitat.
BIRDING SAFARI
Discover world-class birdwatching in South Luangwa, home to over 400 bird species. During the dry season, the Luangwa River attracts a stunning array of water birds, including yellow-billed storks, pelicans, saddle-billed storks, goliath herons, and crowned cranes, offering an exceptional birding experience in this rich habitat.

A DAY AT THE NSEFU SECTOR
